Alexa White, Attorney

Alexa L. Stumpff White was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in April of 2017. Ms. Stumpff attended Oklahoma State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Journalism in 2014. While attending Oklahoma State University she was an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2016. While at the University of Tulsa College of Law she completed the Tulsa Lawyers for Children training. She was also a member of Board of Advocates and Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.

Susan Dodd, Paralegal

As the firm’s Paralegal, Susan brings more than 20 years’ experience in various areas of the law, with a primary focus on Estate Planning and Trust Administration, Probate, Guardianship and Real Estate. She began her career as a Paralegal assisting attorney D. Michael Hisey, most recently until his retirement in July of 2022. She provides support in a broad range of complex estate planning and probate matters.

Susan is a native of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, and attended Murray State College, majoring in Business.

Outside of the office, she is very involved with her family and supports her grandchildren in their many extra-curricular activities.

D. Michael Hisey, Retired Attorney

D. Michael Hisey is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Court of Military Appeals. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma in 1972. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Mr. Hisey graduated in 1969 from Central State College, majoring in English with minors in Philosophy and Government. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1972. Mr. Hisey was a Captain in the Marine Corps Judge Advocate Division from 1973-1977. He served as the First Assistant District Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial District of the State of Oklahoma from 1977-1978, then became Special District Judge for Carter County, Oklahoma, from 1978-1984. He has been in private practice since 1984 and has been the municipal Judge in Wilson, Oklahoma since 1989. Along with maintaining his long standing and reputable private practice, Mr. Hisey served as President of the Carter County Bar Association and has been active in civic affairs, serving on and chairing numerous civic boards, including the Arbuckle Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Children's Shelter, and Carter County Jail Advisory Board.
